Blaster serves as Master's bodyguard, carrying the dwarf on his back as they ride through Bartertown. Master Blaster's control of the methane refinery gives them leverage against Aunty Entity, who wants Max to kill Blaster so she can subvert Master to her will. Max infiltrates Underworld to size up Master Blaster and discovers Blaster's vulnerability to high-pitched sounds when he sets off his own booby-trap alarm. In Thunderdome, Blaster dominates the fight until Max blows a whistle, causing Blaster to grab his head in pain. Max knocks Blaster's helmet off and prepares to kill him, but relents upon seeing that Blaster has an intellectual disability. Max reveals Aunty's plot, and Master threatens to shut down the refinery, so Aunty has Blaster killed.

In Their Own Story

The dust of Thunderdome settles as Blaster towers over Max, his massive fists ready to strike. The crowd roars as he dominates the fight, but when Max blows a whistle, Blaster's hands fly to his ears in agony. Max knocks his helmet off and raises his weapon for the killing blow—then stops, seeing the childlike confusion in Blaster's eyes. Max reveals Aunty's betrayal, but before Master can act, Aunty orders Blaster killed. The giant falls, and Master is left alone, forced to keep the refinery running under Aunty's terror.

Blaster is Master's bodyguard and the physical half of the "Master Blaster" duo that challenges Aunty Entity for control of Bartertown. He is hypersensitive to high-pitched noises, a weakness Max discovers and exploits in Thunderdome. Blaster has an intellectual disability, which is revealed when Max removes his helmet and sees his face.
